Legal work under fair conditions and equal treatment of all employees in Saxony. Under this motto we support employees from other EU member states who work or plan to work in Saxony.
Our counselling focuses on issues of labor law (employment contract, wage claims/minimum wage, working hours, vacation entitlements, dismissal, work accidents, differences between genuine and fictitious self-employment, mobbing/discrimination, etc.) and social law (child benefit, unemployment/unemployment benefit, health and long-term care insurance, pension insurance, accident insurance, family benefits, etc.).
We offer personal, telephone or written advice in the following languages: German, Czech, Polish, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian and English.
Our advice is free of charge. It does not include representation in court.
The counselling center for foreign employees in Saxony (BABS) is an initiative of the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport and is financed from tax funds on the basis a resolution passed by the members of the Saxon State Parliament.
